About the Photo Collection

The Museum's primary photo collection consists of between 400 and 500* full-color 35mm slides bound in 25 pocketed, non-PVC plastic pages, 20 slides to a page. The slides, while not arranged in any particular order, are categorized by content and individually labeled by a custom call-letter system. For ease of search and recall, the call-letters and associated descriptions are stored inside a database.

While the images appearing on this website have not been cleaned or digitally retouched, they represent an effort to digitize the collection for preservation. Insofar as it is practical to judge, these photographs were taken between the late 1950s through the 1980s. Attribution is impossible, since the photographers are unknown.

* Due to the volume of images, they will be uploaded to the website gradually over the course of several months
